Tarangire National Park Day Trip

The Land of Giants – Elephants, Baobabs & Untamed Beauty

$600 per person

Overview

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems, known for its huge herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and dramatic savannah landscapes. Located just about 2 hours from Arusha, it’s an ideal destination for a one-day safari packed with wildlife encounters and striking scenery.

The park is especially vibrant during the dry season (June to October) when animals gather around the Tarangire River—making it one of the best places to see wildlife up close. Expect elephants in large numbers, tree-climbing pythons, lions, zebras, buffaloes, and over 500 species of birds.
